I was quite miserable I fear
But then came an angel quite close, quite near

You doubt me with sceptical eyes
Ready to scroll past what I say

That girl made my day

heck, made my month, made my year, made my life

For there is a Previously and there is a Presently

Because there is a distinct 'Before and After'

When it comes to her,
she divided me

Into the horror that I would have become

and the man that I have come to be
